The Hollywood, FL-based supplier of patches, emblems and other products jumps up several rungs on this year’s list, thanks to estimated sales growth of 45%. Key accomplishments in 2024 for World Emblem include the September acquisition of the assets of Hero’s Pride, which provides emblem products for first responders. Amid ongoing tariff uncertainty and due to his company’s manufacturing presence in Mexico, CEO Randy Carr has become a sought-after expert voice, sharing his candid thoughts on the upheaval caused by import levies, how to adapt to it and the difficulties inherent in reshoring manufacturing. The supplier is building a new facility in the Dominican Republic and also announced in June that it's opening a larger factory in Houston that will add up to 150 jobs, including 50 that the company says are being reshored from China. "We are proud to bring more jobs home in support of the country’s reshoring goals," said Carr, "while continuing to improve service for our customers.”
