Despite a 9.3% sales dip in 2024, the Kalamazoo, MI-based supplier has stayed nimble in the face of tariff-fueled economic uncertainty. “We’re negotiating with vendors, and in some cases moving production to stay away from the highest tariff rates,” says Edwards Garment President/CEO and Counselor Power 50 member Jose Gomez. “We’re also in constant communication and collaboration with customers and using the strength of our inventory to navigate the transition.” Gomez touts the launch of popular new products – like its Point Grey collection of stretch, retail-inspired styles – among Edwards Garment’s biggest recent accomplishments, and says the company’s top goals this year are to grow sales and keep improving the customer experience.
