As is tradition for Gill Studios, the Lenexa, KS-based supplier enjoyed an election-year boost, growing sales by nearly 7% – even though last year was anything but normal. “We typically print for presidential candidates through the whole year leading up to the election,” says president and CEO Jeff Furminger, who took over the lead role for Jamie Fain, who retired in the spring. “In 2024, the Democrat candidate switch occurred so late in the election that it threw everyone for a curve. It compressed the amount of time to get products to the campaigns and pushed our capacity.” The supplier continues to invest in new equipment and capabilities, and capitalize on the fact that all of its manufacturing takes place in the U.S.
