It’s been a big year of partnerships for Starline, which jumps two spots on this year’s list even as sales remained flat. Late last summer, the Grand Island, NY-based supplier partnered with fellow Counselor Top 40 supplier Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) to offer its on-demand hard goods in Vantage’s webstores. Soon after, Starline became the exclusive distributor of products from Rupt (asi/84203) to the Canadian marketplace (Starline also has a location in Concord, ON), and now also offers items from Pro Towels (asi/79750) in its product line. Brian Porter, Starline’s CRO and a Counselor Power 50 member, says the company’s no-minimum-quantity Starline On Demand program “saw a tremendous amount of growth.” This year the supplier is overhauling its website and pursuing additional strategic partnerships.
