A printer of items like decals, magnets and signs, Stouse was acquired in January by Brook + Whittle, a sustainable packaging company. Even as sales declined by more than 4% last year, the New Century, KS, supplier added new digital printing equipment across multiple product lines and streamlined operations that enhanced print consistency and shortened production cycles. “Additionally, we focused heavily on operational efficiency, achieving a marked increase in our on-time shipping percentages,” says Jennifer Hoyt, director of marketing and e-commerce. Looking ahead, Hoyt says Stouse is expanding into “high-demand categories like RFID labels, variable information labeling and custom flexible pouches.”
