Union, IL-based Bag Makers falls four spots on the list after a year-over-year sales decline of nearly 10% due to economic uncertainty, competition on price, and both distributors and end-users working directly with manufacturers. The Counselor 2024 Best Places to Work company has a stated goal of improving the customer experience, and recently announced the return of industry vet Pete Gleason to its team as vice president of sales; Gleason had worked for the company for seven years previously before departing in 2016.
