In 2025, Craig Nadel and Debbie Abergel – the duo at the helm of long-standing Counselor Top 40 distributor Nadel (asi/279600) – have been focused on “fostering an innovative and creative environment” for both employees and clients. That started with updates to the company’s annual meeting to better drive engagement and continued with improving internal efficiencies and digital offerings, says Abergel. A recent renovation to the company’s headquarters in Culver City, CA – a renovation spearheaded by Abergel that was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Council – and the recent installation of solar panels that are set to meet nearly all of the firm’s energy needs certainly contributed to those efforts.

For Craig Nadel, those changes have been about developing their salespeople to be both “a marketing partner” and part of a “team of experts” to support big clients. In particular, he sees the continuing development of the company’s education programs as key for alignment with how the branded merch experience has evolved over Nadel’s 70-year history as a company. “We’re focused on always improving,” says Abergel. “Growing our capabilities, working smarter, and staying true to transparency and doing what’s right.”
