A fixture at BEL Promo (asi/39552) for the last seven years, Susan Lewandowski proved to be the constant for the supplier during a tremendous year of change. This year, Alan Tabasky – president of BEL Promo and chief supply chain officer of parent company BEL USA – departed the company, as did BEL USA CEO Sai Koppaka. (Koppaka was succeeded by former A. T. Cross CEO Diego Abril.)

It was “a complete turnover of our C-Suite” acknowledges Lewandoski – but also a key moment for the 35-year industry veteran, who moves up seven spots on this year’s Counselor Power 50 list.

“Change can feel unsettling, but I chose to frame it as an opportunity – reminding our team that new leadership brings fresh perspective and the chance to evolve as a company,” says Lewandowski. “On a personal level, this period pushed me to step up as a stabilizing force, and it strengthened my commitment to grow into an executive leadership role.”

BEL Promo wasn’t merely treading water during that time. The supplier expanded its standard service to two-day turnaround production and realigned its sales and support teams to better serve customers of every size. Additionally, “I’m proud that we were able to deliver growth in a flat market while staying true to our disruptive spirit,” says Lewandowski, who made her first appearance on the Counselor Power 50 list last year.

A dedicated mentor who strives to lead with integrity, Lewandowski has embodied the values that have helped earn her company recognition, including BEL Promo’s latest appearance on Counselor’s Best Places to Work list and BEL USA’s inclusion as a Fortune Best Workplaces in Manufacturing & Production. In addition to driving growth, the Counselor 2024 Woman of Distinction is focused on further expanding her leadership role.

“I want to continue building leadership depth within my team while also stepping fully into an executive role, where I can influence at the highest level,” she says. “My focus is on creating both growth and stability so my team and our customers feel supported to succeed.”
