Aaron Hamer, the CEO of Counselor Top 40 distributor Boundless (asi/143717), climbs up two spots on the Counselor Power 50 list after making his debut last year. In early 2024, Boundless purchased former Counselor Top 40 distributor Touchstone (asi/345631), with Hamer and his team tasked with integrating the two companies. Hamer noted earlier this year that client expectations created “a need for more on-demand solutions, purpose-driven sourcing and strategic support. At the same time, we navigated a major internal shift with the Touchstone integration. What could have been overwhelming instead became a catalyst. Our team rose to the occasion, embracing change and accelerating innovation across the board.”

Under Hamer’s leadership, the fruits of those efforts have made their way into the marketplace, including its corporate gifting service, Gifted by Boundless, as well as its online branded merchandise platform Boundless OnDemand. The company is also investing strategically in tech ranging from AI to order entry enhancements.

Boundless is also prioritizing sustainability in a major way. In May, the distributor launched PRISM (Product Responsibility and Impact Scoring Method) – a patent-pending impact metric that Hamer notes is a signature component of Boundless’ efforts to make CSR “a fundamental pillar of our operations.”

“This tool,” Hamer says, “will help both our brand consultants and clients make more informed, value-aligned decisions with every order.”
