Pitch Perfect USA-Made Promos
It’s almost time for July 4th, which means stars, stripes and outdoor fun! And we know our friends north of the border will be celebrating Canada Day on July 1st.
These aren’t the first or last outdoor parties of the year. Your clients will continue to need items for events, and it’s important to highlight and showcase domestically made promos in your sales presentations. Why? ASI research shows that 57% of consumers have a more favorable opinion of an advertiser if their promo product was made in America. When broken down further, women, southern consumers and boomers all are more favorable to advertisers who use USA-made promos. If your client’s end-users are in any of these demographics, make sure to suggest promos from the United States.
How can you find these items? It’s easier than you think. There’s a filter you can apply in ESP to list only those products made in the United States. And for Canadian users, you can filter by Canadian Market Segment to find the best items for your customers.

Let’s take a look at some popular event categories for summer fun and beyond where you’ll find a variety of USA-made choices.
Deals on Drinkware
- Party Cups – Step away from the boring and go with two-tone or even mood (color-changing) cups. Tell your clients they’ll increase the likelihood of attendees holding on to the cups after the picnic is over.
- Eco-Friendly Tumblers – If your client’s customers are environmentally conscious, suggest giving away reusable water bottles.
- Stainless-Steel Mugs – Tell clients to use a higher-priced gift to give to VIPs or early birds. Stainless-steel mugs are great because they can be used during and after the event.
Dancing Decorations
- Inflatables – Everyone knows it’s a party when they see a giant inflatable dancer or some other fun shape!
- Balloons – For customers with tight budgets, you can suggest logoed balloons.
- Flags – Tell clients they can fly American flags, Canadian flags or flags reflecting their own brand.

- Cornhole – This bean bag toss game is even better when your client adds their logo. Attendees will have a ton of fun and post lots of pictures, ensuring your client’s logo is seen all over social media.
- Flying Discs – Easy and priced just right, flying discs (aka Frisbees) are fun for the whole family, and even the extra furry family members.
- Tumble Tower – A giant tower of imprinted blocks is sure to be a hit, especially when it tumbles.
Gifts ‘n’ Giveaways
- Sunglasses – One thing that makes promos more impactful is when they can be used immediately and long-term. Suggest clients give a pair of sunnies to all attendees.
- T-Shirts – Explain to your client that one size does not fit all. It’s important they have unisex choices and multiple sizes to ensure their customers can wear the shirt post-event.
- Light-Up Accessories – Light-up necklaces and bracelets will be a hit with all age groups.
