Key Takeaways
• A Living Legacy: Crystal D (asi/47759) has honored late Founder Chuck Dahlgren by donating 20% of its Legacy Gallery line sales to nonprofits.
• A Birthday Gift: The donations mark Chuck’s birthday and benefit four nonprofits.
• Family Ties: Jeanne Dahlgren, Chuck’s wife, continues his legacy by leading Crystal D as president.
Crystal D (asi/47759) is celebrating its late founder’s birthday this week, not with cake and candles – but by giving back.
Chuck Dahlgren helmed the St. Paul, MN-based supplier of crystal awards and gifts for almost 30 years before he passed away in 2022. He left behind an overwhelmingly positive legacy and workplace culture, including several years on Counselor’s Best Places to Work list.
Following his passing, his wife, Jeanne Dahlgren, took up the mantle as Crystal D’s president and launched the Legacy Gallery collection in Chuck’s honor. As part of the Crystal D Cares program, 20% of product sales from the 10 crystal awards in the Legacy Gallery are donated to nonprofits around the world.

“He was an incredibly kind person, and creating the Legacy Gallery was a perfect way to carry on that giving spirit,” Jeanne said. “Together, and with Chuck’s spirit around us, the world is a little brighter today.”
In honor of what would have been Chuck’s 73rd birthday, on Feb. 22, Jeanne has chosen to mark the occasion with donations to each of the four nonprofits she selected as 2024 Legacy Gallery beneficiaries.
