Max, the Counselor Top 40 supplier’s fourth sponsored pup, completed his service dog training alongside the U.S. Navy veteran he was placed with through the nonprofit.

Key Takeaways

Another of Logomark’s (asi/67866) sponsored service dogs has graduated with flying colors – and a wagging tail.

Max, a Labrador retriever mix, has successfully completed his training program with Shelter to Soldier, a nonprofit that trains rescue dogs into service animals for post-9/11 military veterans dealing with psychological injuries from their time in the line of duty.

Logomark is a longtime partner of the nonprofit, donating a portion of proceeds from its Perka, iCool and Work collections to support Shelter to Soldier’s drive to “save lives, two at a time.”

Since Shelter to Soldier adopted Max in November 2023 thanks to Logomark’s support, he’s undergone 13 months of service training and was recently matched with Shaneka, a U.S. Navy veteran. Over the course of their time together, the duo have developed a loving bond and a profound partnership, the Counselor Top 40 supplier shared.

“There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd as we proudly celebrated another graduation ceremony of one of our sponsored service dogs, ready to help Shaneka, who bravely and selflessly serviced our country,” said Michael Bistocchi, Logomark’s chief revenue officer.

Logomark has sponsored a total of eight service dogs and two therapy dogs through Shelter to Soldier’s training program during the course of its partnership with the nonprofit. The latest pup to enter training, a 10-month-old shepherd/lab mix, got his name – Bodie – through a contest the supplier held at the PPAI Expo in January.

Based on a reported 2023 North American promotional products revenue of $119.5 million, Logomark ranked 14th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
