Koozie Group (asi/40480) is celebrating the latest of its sponsored litter to fetch her service dog diploma.

The Counselor Top 40 supplier supports the nonprofit 4 Paws for Ability by sponsoring training for service dogs, and their latest pup to graduate has just been matched with a pair of kids in need.

Newly graduated service dog Daphne has been paired with Sophia and Wesley through the nonprofit 4 Paws for Ability.

4 Paws for Ability is a nonprofit that raises and trains service dogs for placement with children and veterans who have disabilities. They place more than 120 dogs per year, each trained with specific skills to aid with their partner’s disability.

Koozie Group’s latest graduate, a pup named Daphne, was matched with siblings Sophia and Wesley in Kentucky. She’ll assist the family with both diabetic detection and behavior disruption for autism now that their first service dog, Stoutland – who was also trained by 4 Paws for Ability – is ready to retire.

“Daphne will go to school with Sophia during the day and help Wesley at night,” the siblings’ mom shared. “She is really going to help my kids.”

IMAGEN Brands, which Koozie acquired back in 2020, has been supporting 4 Paws for Ability since 2022 by donating 1% of stock plush sales to the nonprofit. After IMAGEN was fully integrated into the Koozie portfolio last year, they continued support of the program with the sponsorship of Daphne’s litter.

The first of Daphne’s siblings to graduate, Rose, was matched with her partner at the end of 2024. Three others from the litter are still in advanced training at 4 Paws for Ability, and a few others have been lovingly dubbed “Fabulous Flunkies,” the term of endearment given to dogs who don’t master the skills needed to become service dogs and are adopted out.

“We’re honored to have played a small part in Daphne becoming a service dog and are thrilled to know what a positive impact she’ll make for Sophia and Wesley,” said Trisha Joyce, employee engagement and communications manager at Koozie Group. “We love supporting organizations such as 4 Paws for Ability as part of our Keep It. Give It. program.”

Koozie Group ranked seventh on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry with a reported 2023 North American promotional products revenue of $317 million.
