Women in Print Alliance Celebrates Women’s History Month
The association, part of PRINTING United Alliance, will recognize the contributions of women in the printing industry with podcasts, events and more.
Key Takeaways
• Podcast Series: The Women in Print Alliance’s podcast, Her Imprint, will release 21 new episodes in March in honor of Women’s History Month, highlighting influential women in the printing industry.
• Events & Benefits: This year, the alliance will offer professional development, workshops, networking events and a comprehensive membership directory to support women in the printing industry.
The Women in Print Alliance is aiming to uplift the contributions of women in the printing industry – not just in March for Women’s History Month but all year long.
Women in Print is part of PRINTING United Alliance, a member organization for printing and graphic arts companies and a strategic partner of ASI.
Several of PRINTING United’s media brands are set to work with the Women in Print Alliance this month and beyond to recognize key women in the printing industry – including the Alliance’s female-focused podcast Her Imprint, hosted by Editorial Director Denise Gustavson. This month, Her Imprint will launch 21 new episodes – one regular episode and 20 bonus episodes – honoring women who make up the printing industry.
“We’re connecting women in print to honor the past while looking optimistically to the future.” Lisbeth Lyons Black, Women in Print Alliance
Packaging Impressions, Wide-format Impressions and Promo Impressions will also release focused coverage and podcasts on women in print in celebration of Women’s History Month.
“This year’s Women’s History Month theme – Women Educating & Inspiring Generations – is especially relevant to women in print,” said Lisbeth Lyons Black, director of the Women in Print Alliance. “With four generations of women currently in the workforce, there are tremendous opportunities to learn from, and inspire, one another.”
Last year, the Women in Print Alliance launched a formalized paid membership program for women in the printing industry to access professional development programming, educational workshops and conference recognition, among other perks.
To come in March is a comprehensive online membership directory of Women in Print Alliance members, with the hope of facilitating more idea-sharing and learning across generations of women in print. And later this year, the Alliance will host regional meetups in select cities, as well as its annual Women in Print luncheon at the 2025 PRINTING United Expo in Orlando.
“We’re connecting women in print to honor the past while looking optimistically to the future,” Lyons Black said.
PRINTING United Alliance and ASI Media last year formed a partnership focused on the increasingly interconnected print, decorating and promotional products sectors, which included the launch of a dual membership offering. The partners also recently announced that the 2026 PRINTING United Expo in Las Vegas will feature an exclusive ASI Show Pavilion.
