The Counselor Top 40 distributor reached sales of nearly $26 million in the third quarter, with sales up more than 50% in total for the first nine months of 2025.

Key Takeaways

• Stran Promotional Solutions (asi/337725) reported third-quarter sales of nearly $26 million, up 29% from the same period in 2024, with year-to-date revenue rising 56.7% to $87.2 million.

• Despite higher sales and gains in its Stran Loyalty Solutions segment, the Quincy, MA-based distributor posted a Q3 net loss of about $1.2 million, though losses have narrowed compared to last year.

Counselor Top 40 distributor Stran Promotional Solutions (asi/337725) reported a 29% sales increase for Q3, bumping to nearly $26 million from $19.7 million during the same three-month period in 2024.

Quincy, MA-based Stran’s 2025 earnings to date are up to $87.2 million, an increase of 56.7% compared to the first nine months of 2024, according to the publicly traded firm’s most recent financial report.

“The third quarter reflected another period of disciplined execution and consistent progress,” said Andy Shape, Stran’s CEO and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of the most influential people in promo. “We believe this trajectory confirms that our strategy is taking hold and that we are moving toward sustainable profitability.”

Specifically, the firm’s Stran Loyalty Solutions segment, which focuses on the casino, gaming and hospitality sectors, has significantly spiked sales for the first nine months of 2025, largely due to the 2024 acquisition of Gander Group, a firm focused on those markets.

Stran, however, did post a net loss of about $1.2 million in the third quarter, with net loss for 2025 so far sitting at just under $1 million.

Those net losses represent an improvement from the firm’s net losses last year, especially considering that the company did have net gains in the second quarter. Since Shape took Stran public in late 2021, bucking an industry trend of taking private equity backing, stock prices have remained low compared to its initial spike, despite annual sales on a significant upward trend.

“As we move into our historically strongest quarter of the year, our focus remains consistent – deepening client relationships, improving operational efficiency through automation and data, and maintaining financial discipline as we strengthen our foundation for long-term growth,” Shape said.

Based on reported 2024 North American promotional products sales of $114.1 million – which did include the 2024 revenue of Gander Group – Stran Promotional Solutions ranked 23rd on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
