Sales were up slightly (3.2%) at the Batavia, OH-based firm, which the distributor attributes to having more dealers. There’s been major changes taking place within the executive ranks of the 129-year-old company. In July it announced that Mitch and Brad Kaeser, sons of longtime CEO/president Kurt Kaeser, were promoted to co-CEOs. The elder Kaeser is continuing as chairman. In addition, industry veteran Liza Sachs, who was hired in March 2022 and joined the Power 50 last year, was promoted this summer to chief revenue officer and will oversee all sales, marketing, publications and supplier relations at the distributor. The company also promoted Scott Baker, a long-time employee of the company, from director of information technology to COO. The company is projecting growth of 10% this year.
