Morrisville, NC-based Brand Fuel (asi/145025) has announced that Eric Granata has joined the company as chief technology officer.

“Eric is the right person to achieve a vision for Brand Fuel that’s more strategically driven through technological innovation,” Robert Fiveash and Danny Rosin, co-presidents of Brand Fuel, said in a press release.

In this newly created role, Granata will be tasked with expanding Brand Fuel’s online store programs, marketing and business development initiatives, and cybersecurity enhancement. “I look forward to helping Brand Fuel become even more of a tech-focused company,” Granata said. “We’ve been friends and collaborators for so long that this feels like a natural fit.”

Previously, Granata spent eight years at Oklahoma-based Robyn Promotions (asi/309656), serving as director of business development/director of e-commerce. He currently serves on the boards of PromoKitchen and The Print Services & Distribution Association.
