Top 40 distributor Kaeser & Blair (asi/238600) hosted its fourth annual Sales Leader Summit in San Diego last week in conjunction with private meetings with 14 top promotional products industry suppliers.

The all-expense paid trip for K&B’s top sales volume dealers included taking over the USS Midway for guided tours and dinner on the hanger deck. During the event, 36 K&B dealers received Dick Kaeser Legend Awards in recognition of their exceptional sales accomplishments.

“We took over the entire ship, you can’t even imagine how large that aircraft carrier is,” said Gregg Emmer, vice president & chief marketing officer at K&B. “Now we’re faced with the task of doing the next summit as good or better as this one.”

The Batavia, Ohio-based distributor celebrates its 125th anniversary next year and will return to Cincinnati for a private trade show with 200 lines represented. There are also other activities planned to mark the momentous occasion.
