Talking About Promo Sales in Q3 & Q4

In Q3, client buying habits remained strong, with distributor sales up by 12.4%. That’s according to the new Distributor Quarterly Sales Survey from ASI Research. ASI Media executive editors Theresa Hegel and Sara Lavenduski dig into the numbers in this episode of Promo Insiders and look at what’s on the horizon for the promotional products industry.
Despite all of the rumblings of a possible recession, the third quarter of the year finished strong. Distributors told Lavenduski that in many cases, they’d successfully educated customers about things like supply chain difficulties, staffing shortages and freight company backups. “So, they did order a little earlier,” she said. “So Q3, I think really reflected people actually buying for the end of the year early.”
