ASI Answers Demand for New High-End Catalog

April 6, 2004, Trevose, PA – The Advertising Specialty Institute, the largest member organization in the promotional products industry, recently announced the creation of Rewards & Incentives, a promotional products catalog specifically targeted to buyers of award gifts.

According to a report by the Incentive Federation, "Each year, US businesses spend more than $25 billion to motivate salespeople to sell and customers to buy, and all employees to work more effectively." With reward and incentive programs accounting for over $5.6 billion in promotional products sales, that leaves a very large market to be tapped.

Research shows that tangible incentives are more motivating, over the long term, than cash. It's all about perception. Unlike cash, which comes to be thought of as salary or bonus and not a thing to show off or discuss with colleagues, an award is a source of pride and something to be displayed.

Rewards & Incentives was created with a broader range of products than most awards catalogs, while maintaining the integrity of the category of rewards and incentives. Designed with the look, feel and content requested by users of high-end premiums, Rewards & Incentives features only products that are perfect for incentive programs, milestone events, sales rewards, safety awards and more.

Rewards & Incentives is a retail-style, 8 1/4" x 10 1/2" size that gives the end-user an aesthetically appealing, easy-to-read catalog with crisp, clear product photographs. Distributors get an easy-to-mail catalog that features products for a wide range of reward occasions, along with detailed descriptions that support an effective selling experience.

Rewards & Incentives will be available to distributors in August 2004, just in time to show to customers who are considering year-end recognition for valued employees, colleagues or clients, or are planning their 2005 incentive programs.

Interested suppliers should know there is a five-product per page limit and ad pages are full-size only. Advertisers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
