ASI Advantages Roadshow Announces 2010 Schedule

Visits Boise, Fargo and Las Vegas for the First Time

TREVOSE, PA – May 27, 2009 - The ASI Show announced the 16-week schedule for the 2010 ASI Advantages Roadshow, the largest and best-attended traveling show in the advertising specialty industry.

Featuring 76 local shows, the 2010 Advantages Roadshow tour is designed to bring together suppliers, distributors and decorators across the United States and Canada, and will visit Boise, Fargo and Las Vegas for the first time.

With free education from 7:45–9 a.m. and 1–2 p.m. and exhibit hours from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., each Advantages Roadshow has proven to be a valuable resource to thousands of industry professionals who are building their advertising specialty business.

Many of the industry’s top suppliers have chosen the Advantages Roadshow as their platform to introduce new products, and companies such as SanMar (asi/84863), Prime Resources (asi/79530), Bodek & Rhodes (asi/40788), Stouse (asi/89910) and Hit Promotional Products (asi/61125) have made the Advantages Roadshow part of their annual exhibition plan.

The 2010 tour will also co-locate with the Stitches Roadshow in Atlanta, St. Louis and Denver, allowing attendees and exhibitors to experience two shows in one.  Decorators will have opportunities to meet equipment, software, supply and service providers face-to-face, see new wearables vendors and network with other decorators, and distributors will have an opportunity to learn the latest embroidery trends.

“In this economic environment, it is more important than ever to make a personal connection with prospects and clients,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president of The ASI Show.  “The Advantages Roadshow targets 130,000 industry distributor salespeople from more than 22,000 ASI distributor companies.  Suppliers can easily meet hundreds of distributors each week, and that’s more than they could meet through personal phone calls in the same amount of time.”

Over 8,200 people have attended the Advantages Roadshow so far in 2009, which is more than 680 distributors, on average, attending a typical week and more attendees than any competing traveling industry show.

“I hear daily from attendees that the Advantages Roadshow was well worth their time out of the office,” said Nick DiNicola, general manager of the Advantages Roadshow.  “Within a few hours, distributors can acquire new sales tools, discuss client challenges and needs with other ad specialty professionals, and find unique items that give them a competitive edge.”

The upcoming 2009 Advantages Roadshow weeks include a new Canadian week, October 19-23.  The other remaining weeks are Canada West (June 8-12), Midsouth (August 24-28), Great Lakes II (September 8-11), California II (September 21-25), Midwest IV (October 12-16), Canada East II (October 19-23) and Northeast II (October 26-30).
