ASI Advantages Roadshow Attracts Hundreds of Distributors in Eastern Canada

Moves to Fargo, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Kansas City and St. Louis Oct. 18-22

TREVOSE, PA - October 8, 2010 - The Advantages Roadshow, managed by The ASI Show, enjoyed a successful week during the second leg of the Eastern Canada tour as part of the 16-week 2010 schedule. As the largest and best-attended traveling show in the advertising specialty industry, more than 7,000 distributors have attended an Advantages Roadshow to date this year.

Distributors in the Canada East II portion of the tour - shows were held in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Burlington - spent time with leading suppliers introducing the latest advertising specialties.

The impressive exhibitor list included:

  • Aunt Beth’s Cookie Keepers, asi/37465
  • Buztronics Canada, asi/42964
  • Debco, asi/48886
  • Enduraline, asi/52480

Reactions from attendees were positive.

“I was very impressed with the assorted variety of different companies displaying their products,” said distributor Barry Mandel of K-Promotions Ltd., of Toronto (asi/238367). “It was very refreshing to see new suppliers and the really neat products they had to offer. It’s nice to see the regulars, but having a chance to see other suppliers is just what’s needed to assist us in finding more unusual products for our very fussy clients. I hope more shows do this.”

“We personally connected with a terrific number of distributors,” said supplier Marie Lionetti of Logoclock (asi/92142). “These were quality contacts - and a lot of them. We’ll definitely be back.”

A total of 40 attendees also enjoyed free education designed to help them sell in any economic environment.  Sessions included “Getting Started in the Advertising Specialty Industry,” for new distributors who want to sell promotional products; the “Exhibitor Presents” session, featuring hot products; and the “Sell More Products Faster with ESP Web and ESP Orders” session, which outlined the instant access, intelligent search, innovative marketing and integrated ordering features of these new services.

The show co-locates with the Stitches Roadshow in select cities, allowing attendees and exhibitors to experience two shows in one and providing decorators with opportunities to meet equipment, software, supply and service providers face-to-face, see new wearables vendors, enjoy valuable education and network with other decorators.

All distributors are invited to attend the Advantages Roadshow for free, and can register on-site with a business card or can pre-register on each city’s to receive exclusive exhibitor specials and show updates in advance.  Suppliers interested in exhibiting may contact Nick DiNicola at ndinicola@asicentral.com, or their ASI Show rep at 1-877-ASI-SHOW.
