Focusing on the Future: A Year-End Message from ASI CEO Tim Andrews
With plenty of optimistic signs, it’s full steam ahead in 2023 for your promo business.
When I look back on 2022, I find inspiration at every turn, forged by dreamers and innovators taking risks, facing down challenges and enjoying their success while shining a light on those who need it most. After nearly 20 years in the promo industry, I’m still passionate about the work we all do and excited by the world of possibilities ahead.
As I detail in my video message, we’re surrounded by optimistic signs everywhere. Promo’s third-quarter sales were strong – 12% higher than the year before. Companies across the globe still find tremendous value in promo products, so much so that ASI’s next Top 40 list will include its first billion-dollar distributor.

I’m proud that ASI’s been a driving force in the success of the promotional products industry for over 60 years, and that our technology, trade shows, events, education, market research and journalism remain the best in the business.
In a few weeks, I hope to see you at ASI’s big trade shows in Orlando, Jan. 4-6, and Fort Worth, Jan. 23-25. Along with the latest, greatest products, we’re delivering big-name speakers, insightful education and plenty of networking and celebrations.
You work hard all year. This holiday season, I hope you can hit pause, take joy in friends and family, throw a few snowballs or take a good long nap. Come 2023, it’s full steam ahead. The New Year brings a golden opportunity – to work together to make this industry bigger, more relevant and vital than ever.
