Sportsman Cap & Bag has relocated to a new 150,000-plus-square-foot headquarters in Lenexa, KS. The headquarters and distribution center is more than three times larger than Sportsman’s previous home in Shawnee, KS. “Each year, we continue to add more brands and styles to the product lineup,” said Dan Saferstein, president of Sportsman Cap & Bag. “We’re currently adding over 30 new styles from popular brands such as Puma, Champion and Richardson. We’ve been busting at the seams as we kept expanding in our previous location. Finally, we just ran out of room and had to move.”

GSG is launching an industry fundraiser for Be The Match, a bone marrow donor program, in honor of Payton Granberry – granddaughter of Mark Granberry, GSG’s president. Payton was diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia (SAA) at 12, but found a bone marrow donor through Be The Match. To honor Payton’s successful battle and raise fund for Be The Match, GSG created a custom color of Siser EasyWeed heat transfer vinyl called “Payton Pink.” Proceeds from the sales of Payton Pink vinyl will go toward Be The Match. GSG will also sell Payton Pink T-shirts for $5 at upcoming trade shows to raise funds for the donor program.
