True Brands Names New Director of Promo Sales Division

Daniel H. Pendleton has some 27 years of experience in the merch market, having worked with Top 40 distributor BDA, Pinnacle Promotions, former Top 40 supplier IMAGEN Brands and others.

During his nearly 30 years in the promotional products industry, Daniel H. Pendleton has worked on the both the distributor and supplier sides of the business, including time with Top 40 companies.

Now, Pendleton is taking that experience to True Brands (asi/92293), a 20-year-old Seattle-headquartered provider of lifestyle beverage accessories that has tapped the Tennessee native to be the director of sales for its promotional products division.

Pendleton, who now resides in the Atlanta area, was most recently in a strategic account management/business development role with supplier Gold Bond (asi/57653). Other past positions include vice president of sales at Georgia-based distributor Pinnacle Promotions (asi/295986) – a Counselor 2024 Best Places to Work company – and senior account manager at Top 40 distributor BDA (asi/137616).

Back on the supplier side of the business, Pendleton was previously e-commerce national sales manager with IMAGEN Brands, a firm that was a Top 40 supplier before being acquired and integrated into Top 40 firm Koozie Group (asi/40480). He also held a national sales position with Otto International (asi/75350), among other promo roles.

At True Brands, Pendleton’s goals include expanding the company’s footprint in promo, particularly in the categories of barware and beer/wine/spirits accessories.

A graduate of Belmont University, Pendleton holds an MASI from ASI Education.
