“Let’s be honest – if it ends up in the trash, it wasn’t sustainable to begin with,” said Jay Busselle, co-founder of the Branded Merch Network and one of the organizers of the summit. “The most impactful branded merch is the kind people actually want, use and keep.”
This free two-hour-long event will feature a blend of live panels, prerecorded keynotes, real-world case studies and a few unexpected moments of fun. Attendees will hear from decorators, distributors, suppliers and sustainability champions who are reshaping the industry across three essential sectors: promotional products, print (including commercial printing, packaging and paper-based media) and apparel (including decoration, custom garments and wearable production).
The main purpose of the event is to inspire, educate and continue to change the landscape from performative greenwashing to purposeful, values-driven sustainable impact. Featured topics will include the state of sustainability in the industry, the future of sustainable merch, supplier and decorator case studies, why certification matters and how sustainability can lead to sales.
The event is open to distributors, decorators, suppliers, brand marketers and sustainability leaders from across the promo, print and apparel industries. Anyone who believes the industry can – and should – do better should attend, organizers said.
