Key Takeaways
• Commitment to Sustainability: Merchology (asi/169169) received a Committed badge from EcoVadis, a sustainability assessment platform becoming more popular in the promotional products industry.
• Four Pillars: EcoVadis evaluates companies on environmental and social governance, ranking them in four categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Plymouth, MN-based Merchology (asi/169169) has earned a Committed badge from third-party sustainability assessment platform EcoVadis. The distributor said the partnership with EcoVadis will provide increased value for customers looking to decrease the environmental impact of their branded merchandise while formalizing Merchology’s commitment to sustainable decisions.
“Partnering with EcoVadis reinforces our commitment to responsible business practices and transparent supply chains,” said Ally Delgado, CEO and cofounder of Merchology. “As we continue to grow, it’s essential that sustainability and responsibility remain at the core of everything we do. These principles aren’t just values – they’re the foundation for building trust with our customers, empowering our team, and ensuring our long-term impact is positive and lasting for both people and the planet.”
EcoVadis provides a comprehensive assessment of a company’s performance in environmental and social governance across its supply chain, evaluating companies based on four categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The platform uses an in-depth scoring system to help companies evaluate current practices and find opportunities for growth.

EcoVadis has rated more than 150,000 companies worldwide. The platform has become increasingly popular in the promo products industry. Earlier this month, Counselor Top 40 supplier HPG (asi/61966) announced that it had boosted its EcoVadis rating, receiving a Platinum medal, placing it among the top 1% of companies assessed.
Merchology said that responsibility is one of the company’s core values, which was one of the motivating factors for choosing EcoVadis as its third-party assessment platform.
“Partnering with EcoVadis reinforces our responsibility to uphold the highest standards in labor and ethics: not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it’s part of how we show up every day: driven, adaptable, responsible and united as one team,” said Dana Blumberg, vice president of people at Merchology. “This rating reflects our continued promise to do business with integrity and to serve our customers and communities with values at the core of what we do.”
