Vantage Apparel Debuts Distributor Experience Centers

Counselor Top 40 supplier Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) is keen to do a bit of hosting – all in the name of helping distributors increase their sales.

The company announced on Dec. 18 that it has launched what executives call Distributor Experience Centers at its U.S. facilities in Avenel, NJ; St. Louis, MO; and Santa Ana, CA. The centers aim to be a powerful resource for distributors to do everything from learn more about Vantage offerings to host end-buyer meetings.

The Distributor Experience Centers are in three Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) facilities.

“As many distributor companies downsize their offices and adjust to a remote workforce, having access to enhanced meeting spaces has become essential,” Vantage Apparel said in a statement. “The new Distributor Experience Centers deliver on this need with cutting-edge technology and a suite of features tailored to support successful client interactions.”

Each center features what Vantage described as:

  • State-of-the-art technology for presentations, live video streaming and hybrid meetings.
  • Conference and meeting areas to accommodate various group sizes.
  • A full showroom showcasing Vantage’s collection of decorated apparel.
  • A lending library that enables distributors to borrow merchandise for offsite meetings and return it when finished.

It’s been busy days for Vantage Apparel. The company announced last week that it had appointed Sean Macilvain vice president of business development, a role that has him leading the firm’s U.S. sales team.

In September, the supplier brought on Shira Hudson as director of customer experience. And earlier this month, Vantage announced that all three of its facilities would be offering direct-to-film decoration capabilities.

In July, Vantage became the exclusive supplier in the United States of Toronto-based Redwood Classics Apparel (asi/81627), a certified Tier 2 supplier that specializes in high-end Canadian-made products. Vantage already had an international business footprint following its 2021 acquisition of Lynka, a Poland-based apparel supplier/decorator.

Based on reported North American promotional products revenue of $53 million in 2023, Vantage Apparel ranked 38th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
