Gemline Offers FSC-Certified Moleskine Notebooks

Counselor Top 40 supplier Gemline (asi/56070) is now offering Moleskine notebooks made with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified paper, a move that the certified B Corp says strengthens its commitment to product responsibility.
The FSC chain of custody certification (FSC-CA75379), granted by third-party sustainability certifier SCS Global Services, highlights Moleskine’s commitment to responsible forest management, helping to ensure the brand’s notebooks meet the highest environmental and social standards, according to Gemline.

FSC says its certification is the most rigorous international standard for responsible forestry, with FSC-certified forests asserted to conserve biological diversity, water resources and crucial ecosystems. The FSC standard also upholds workers’ rights and supports economic prosperity in surrounding communities. The FSC chain of custody certification ensures that certified wood products are tracked from forest to final product, adding legitimacy to the FSC claim throughout the supply chain.
Founded in 1958, Gemline has been making a concerted push into sustainable practices. Last year, it became the largest promo supplier to achieve B Corp certification. In May 2024, the supplier reincorporated as a Massachusetts Public Benefit Corporation.
