Wild Thang (asi/360233), a U.K.-based distributor, has earned its B Corp certification.

With its newly earned certification, the distributor, which also has an office in Boonton, NJ, said it’s now on a mission “to deliver one world-class solution that elevates creative branded clothing, merchandise and print through more sustainable practices and ethical production.”

“We know that there is still much to be done in the future, but we are incredibly proud to be part of the B Corp community,” Wild Thang noted in a blog post about its certification. “We can’t wait to embed ourselves into this mission and are excited to stand alongside other businesses that are a genuine force for good for both people and planet.”

Wild Thang, established in 1996, said it has worked for decades toward positive social and environmental change. Back in 2023, the distributor publicly launched an eight-point long-term sustainability pledge at the Good Small Business awards.

Among its environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts are funding reforestation projects and verified carbon avoidance projects on behalf of every staff member and for every client order. Since February 2023, the distributor said it’s planted over 65,000 trees and supported 18 verified carbon-avoidance projects, preventing the more than 4,500 tons of CO2 equivalent. Wild Thang has set a target of reaching carbon net zero by 2030.
