Under Marc Simon’s leadership, HALO made history by becoming one of only two distributorships to record over $1 billion in revenue – a feat achieved for the first time in 2022 thanks to adding new customers, organic growth, and revenue from the strategic acquisition of former Top 40 company BrandVia.

An accomplished lawyer and certified public accountant, Simon is the deft orchestrator of one of promo’s most aggressive and successful acquisition strategies of the last decade – a business accelerator that’s seen HALO acquire multiple other former Top 40 firms. Counselor’s 2019 Person of the Year, Simon has also ensured that HALO has evolved by making notable advances on ESG efforts.

Given HALO’s size, his role in bringing the distributor firm back from the brink of bankruptcy in 2001 and for executing M&A that’s changed the landscape of the industry, Simon remains in the Power 50’s top five, despite slipping one spot lower than last year due to slightly weaker scores on influence from the industry.
