Proforma Provides Gifts to Children in Need
The Top 40 promo products distributor partnered with two nonprofits on a holiday season initiative.
Proforma (asi/300094) is living the holiday spirt.
The Top 40 promotional products distributor and its employees recently gave children in need items from Amazon Wish Lists that had been compiled by Joshua House and Providence House, two nonprofits.
“The holidays are a time for reflection and gratitude,” said Kathy Mayo, Proforma’s human resources director. “Proforma is committed to giving back to the communities and making a positive difference whenever possible. Joshua House and Providence House protect our cities’ most vulnerable citizens, its children, and we are proud to be a part of that.”
Joshua House is a safe haven for abused, abandoned and neglected children. It offers a residential group-care program for children ages 6 to 17 in Tampa Bay, FL. Providence House is a crisis nursery serving children and newborns at risk of abuse and neglect across the U.S. and Canada.
“We have really enjoyed working directly with Proforma during the holidays,” said Nanci March, resource manager at Joshua House. “Proforma and their employees have been very generous in contributing towards and purchasing requested items for foster and at-risk children in the Tampa Bay area.”
It’s a Proforma tradition to support do-gooding organizations during the holiday season. Prior partnerships have been forged with the Buster Brown Foundation, the Angel’s Place Foundation, and the Christ Child House, along with local shelters for abused women and children.
Proforma is the fourth-largest distributor in the North American promo products industry. Founder Greg Muzzillo and CEO Vera Muzzillo co-ranked sixth on Counselor’s most recent Power 50 list of the promo’s most influential people.
