Logomark Names New President; Trevor Gnesin Remains CEO
After a nearly 30-year career in the automotive industry, Clive Goldberg joined the Top 40 supplier in 2019 and has served as chief operating officer. He officially starts as president March 1.
Logomark (asi/67866), a Tustin, CA-based Top 40 supplier, has promoted Clive Goldberg to president.
Trevor Gnesin, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people, had held the role of president/CEO. Gnesin will continue as CEO/chairman of Logomark.
Goldberg, who officially takes over as president on March 1, joined Logomark in 2019. He has been serving as chief operating officer. Prior to Logomark, Goldberg had a nearly 30-year career in the wholesale automotive parts industry, where he held C-Suite positions that included CEO, COO and chief financial officer.
“Clive proved his management skills during COVID – slashing costs, improving EBITDA, creating outstanding customer service, managing inventory – all while retaining 97% of our team and building incredible morale,” said Gnesin. He added that he felt it was time to step back from the president’s role, knowing the “company is in good hands.”
As CEO/chairman, Gnesin will focus on adding new brands to Logomark’s portfolio and on the retail division.
As president, Goldberg will play a lead role in creating (along with Gnesin), communicating and implementing Logomark’s overall vision and direction, including setting goals and objectives for making that vision a reality. He’ll lead and guide company officers, managers and employees in daily operations.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my four years as COO at Logomark and am excited to assume the position of president,” Goldberg said. “I am committed to steering our team toward success by empowering them to think bigger, innovate better, and achieve more than they ever thought possible. More than a title, it’s about taking ownership of every challenge and opportunity toward continuing the growth and evolution of Logomark.”
During his career in the wholesale distribution of automotive parts, Goldberg began with One Stop Parts Source as controller and moved into operations and finance, ultimately becoming CEO/CFO. “We owned company stores and had numerous franchise locations providing just-in-time inventory management to automotive repair facilities,” Goldberg said. “The business was sold in 2013 and I remained on as the CEO for one year.”
From there, Goldberg joined OSC Automotive as CFO/COO. OSC is an importer of automotive radiators, which it sells to wholesale distributors throughout the United States.
“Over my career, I developed many systems and procedures to streamline operations and provide the tools to all management levels to facilitate the effective running and growth of the businesses,” shared Goldberg, who, among other things, was involved in developing the franchise program at One Stop Parts Source and acquiring businesses.
Based on reported 2021 North American promotional product revenue of $92.3 million, Logomark ranked 15th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry. Logomark’s product portfolio includes gifts, accessories, pens, bags, drinkware, mobile technologies, watches and custom packaging.
