Roland DGA Announces Key Leadership Team Changes
The wide-format inkjet printer maker says the moves will help the company continue its growth and expand into new markets.
Roland DGA, a provider of wide-format inkjet printers, cutters, milling machines and other digital imaging equipment, has made three key changes to its leadership team, under recently promoted President Amado Lara.
“We are extremely excited about these important organizational changes,” Lara said.
Dan Johansen, a sign and graphics industry veteran of more than 22 years, has joined the company as vice president of sales, replacing Lara, who previously held the position. Prior to joining Roland DGA, Johansen served as U.S. director of sales and marketing for industrial printing at Ricoh USA. In his new position, Johansen will be responsible for driving sales and growth across multiple industries.
Johansen “brings a wealth of talent and experience to our existing team, and his unique perspective will help generate new ideas that will allow us to expand outside of our current markets,” according to Lara.
Sid Lambert, who has been with Roland DGA for over 18 years, serving most recently as U.S. sales manager, has been promoted to director of sales. In his expanded role, Lambert will be responsible for digital print division sales in North America and South America, excluding Brazil, overseeing Roland DGA’s current and growing reseller channel.
Dan Wilson, who has held several positions at Roland DGA over the last 16 years, serving most recently as marketing director, has been promoted to vice president of marketing and customer development. In his new role, Wilson’s responsibilities center around driving demand for the company’s product offerings – overseeing marketing, customer service and sales development functions to cultivate new customers and markets.
Lara noted that Roland DGA is excited to be promoting Lambert and Wilson from within, adding that both “have been instrumental in helping Roland DGA achieve its industry-leading position and record sales in recent years. We look forward to the future contributions they will make in their expanded roles.”
Roland DG Americas serves North and South America as the marketing, sales, distribution and service arm for the Japanese Roland DG Corp., which was founded in 1981. Its wide-format inkjet printers are used in the sign, apparel, textile, promotional products, personalization and vehicle graphics markets.
