Culture Studio Plans To Double Size of Chicago Facility
The decorator, which provides custom merch for music, entertainment and brands, also operates a production facility in Daytona Beach, FL.
Culture Studio (asi/532911) is planning to double the size of its Chicago operations, bringing its production facility to 100,000 square feet.
The expansion, set for completion in the second quarter of 2024, will help the decorator meet increasing demand from the music and entertainment industry.
Rich Santo, CEO of Culture Studio, expressed excitement for the project: “This expansion underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional custom merchandise solutions to our clients, while positioning Culture Studio for continued growth and success in the market.”
The additional space will allow Culture Studio to ramp up production with increased decorating equipment. There will also be expanded racking space for raw materials, allowing for efficient inventory management and seamless production. The decorator will also increase the number of indoor loading docks from three to nine, providing greater flexibility and efficiency in receiving and dispatching goods. Additional parking spaces are also being added to support the expanding workforce, according to the firm.
Over the last few years, Culture Studio has been on a growth trajectory. In 2022, the apparel decorator opened a second production facility in Daytona Beach, FL. At the time, the company said the expansion into a 75,000-square-foot warehouse space in the Sunshine State would help it achieve two-day ground shipping to anywhere in the U.S. for its clients.
