Gemline Announces Strategic Partnership with MiiR
Drinkware will be among the initial offerings to the promo industry.
Top 40 supplier Gemline (asi/56070) will begin selling insulated drinkware styles from Seattle-based active lifestyle brand MiiR in the promotional products market starting in April 2019. Massachusetts-based Gemline said Friday that the drinkware is the initial product offering to feature in what is a long-term partnership with MiiR.
“We are very excited about our strategic partnership with MiiR,” said Jonathan Isaacson, president of Gemline. “We were drawn to this partnership due to MiiR’s tremendous growth history, sleekly designed sustainable products and successful philanthropic initiatives.” Bryan Papé, founder and CEO of MiiR, said Gemline makes an ideal partner for his brand. “We could not be more excited to join Gemline”, Papé said. “It was important to choose a supplier with a solid reputation represented by quality products to complement the MiiR brand and mission.”
Bottles, cups, tumblers, camp cups, growlers, pint cups, backpacks, a tote, a food canister and a pouch are part of the MiiR line, which Gemline characterized as sleek, functional and built for everyday use.
Founded in 2010, MiiR says it is spearheading what it terms the Product to Project movement, a business model where every product sold funds trackable giving projects through an initiative called MiiR Give. MiiR donates 3% of revenue to partner organizations, thereby helping to provide transportation, education and clean water to those lacking access in the United States and around the world. Each product sold comes with a Give Code that the customer can register to connect with a project and community ultimately empowered by the MiiR Give.
With reported 2017 North American promotional product revenue of $99.8 million, Gemline ranked 16th on Counselor’s latest list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
