Zing to Sell Chargers, Power Banks and More From Anker
The Tempe, AZ-based supplier will carry more than 40 SKUs from the popular tech accessory brand.
Wireless chargers, power banks, Bluetooth speakers, earbuds and headphones – these are among the techy product categories from retail brand Anker that Zing Manufacturing (asi/99025) will now be selling to the promotional products market.
In all, the Tempe, AZ-headquartered supplier will be carrying more than 40 SKUs from Anker, which makes a range of electronics products that sell everywhere from Amazon to major retailers like Kohl’s and Target.
“On the heels of Anker’s popularity at this year’s [CES], Zing is thrilled to offer the industry access to one of the fastest growing, most iconic retail names in tech accessories, branded and personalized to make a lasting impression,” said Rob Watson, vice president of Zing. CES, the tech trade show put on by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) wrapped up Jan. 8 in Las Vegas.
Zing, whose product range includes drinkware, tech items and gift sets, is debuting its Anker offerings this week. A full line of Anker products, including inventory, will be available by mid-January, with products findable in popular promo industry search engines, including ASI’s ESP, executives said. Watson noted that Anker products will shortly become available via the soon-to-be launched ZINGmfg.com and via PromoStandards integration with Zing.
In a digital age in which end-users are increasingly looking for products that are both quality and useful, Zing believes partnering with Anker to offer in-demand tech accessories is an especially savvy move.
Electronics/computer-related products (non-USBs or mobile tech) made up about 2% of total promo industry sales in 2021, while mobile tech accounted for 1.4% of industry revenue, according to Counselor’s 2022 State of the Industry study.
“Tech accessories continue to be one of the fastest-growing and sustainable categories in the industry,” Zing said in a statement. “Anker’s line of high-quality tech products will allow Zing to round out its portfolio of the most sought-after products in the fastest-growing industry categories: drinkware, tech gadgets and gift sets.”
Zing, which has been in business for more than 20 years, has been strategically partnering with retail brands of late. The firm became the exclusive supplier of S’well drinkware to promo in 2021. Last year, Zing announced a partnership that enabled the company to sell Built drinkware and bags in the branded merchandise market.
Aside from the focus on top products and brands, Zing recently upgraded its warehousing and fulfillment services, on-demand printing and personalization, and robotic automation technology. According to Watson, these extensive efforts and investments have significantly enhanced Zing’s suite of services while substantially reducing turn-times, “making us the industry leader at creating dynamic, personalized experiences between a brand and its customers.”
