Dan Jellinek Named Chief Revenue Officer of The Magnet Group
The veteran industry executive has been with the Top 40 supplier in leadership roles since 2010.
It’s a crazy marketplace, but loyalty and execution still certainly pay off.
Indeed, they have for Dan Jellinek: The veteran promotional products leader has earned a promotion to chief revenue officer of The Magnet Group (TMG, asi/68507) – the Top 40 supplier with whom he has worked for more than 13 years.
In his new role, Jellinek will be responsible for the sales organization, in addition to continuing as head of purchasing and new-product development.
“Dan is a delight to have in the company,” said Bill Korowitz, CEO of The Magnet Group and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “He’s loyal, smart and energetic. All of us are thrilled for him.”
Jellinek joined TMG in 2010 as senior vice president of sales. He then rose to the role of executive vice president. In 2021, he won the firm’s highest honor: The annual Fran Ford Award, named after the beloved industry legend who passed away in 2018.
“Dan was nominated by his peers and most deserving of the award,” the supplier firm said at the time. “His efforts for the company were huge, and in the process, the people around him were elevated to new heights by his actions.”
Jellinek played an integral role in returning TMG to annual growth following the challenges of the COVID-19 era. He was also essential to the forging of TMG’s partnership with Kambukka, a Belgium-based drinkware brand that The Magnet Group now sells in the North American promo market.
Before joining TMG, Jellinek’s promo career included time as a vice president with Top 40 distributor Touchstone (asi/345631).
Based on reported 2022 North American promotional products revenue of $99.7 million, The Magnet Group ranked 17th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
