Stacy Garrett is starting her 25^th year in the industry with a big promotion.

The experienced promo pro has been named vice president of sales and marketing at Lake Oswego, OR-based distributorship Ideation (asi/229699).

Garrett, a 2019 Counselor Distributor Salesperson of the Year finalist, was a senior account executive at the firm for more than six years prior to the promotion. During that time, she powered substantial success for Ideation – something executives expect will only grow in her new role.

“Stacy’s exceptional leadership, innovative strategies and commitment to excellence have significantly contributed to our growth,” said Ideation CEO Nate Bailey. “We’re looking forward to seeing her elevate our sales and marketing team and initiatives to new heights.”

Garrett owned her own distributorship for about a decade. She’s also spent years in senior account executive roles at distributors that include Image Source (asi/230121) and Southwick Specialty Advertising. A telling quick fact about the type of professional she is: After a quarter of a century in promo, her first client is still with her.

In her new position at Ideation, Garrett will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales and marketing strategy to achieve revenue targets, increase market share and enhance brand recognition.

“I love this industry so much,” Garrett said in a LinkedIn post. “This (role) will be a new challenge for me but one I am excited to tackle.”

Ideation’s clients have included household names like Comcast, Salesforce, Netflix and Amazon Web Services.
