Promo supplier Vapor Apparel (asi/93396) and Mossy Oak have partnered on a new venture that will provide fully customized print-on-demand sublimated shirts featuring several of the outdoor lifestyle brand’s most popular camouflage patterns.

Designed and manufactured by Charleston, SC-based Vapor Apparel, the short- and long-sleeve shirts will be in sizes for men, women, children and youth. The on-demand program allows clients to order fully sublimated, performance shirts with their custom artwork and/or logos embedded in the print patterns at minimums of 24. Indeed, Vapor will create the apparel specifically in reaction to particular orders. “There is currently no other place to get a fully sublimated custom Mossy Oak design – period,” Vapor Chief Revenue Officer Christopher Bernat told Counselor. “We are the first.”

Mossy Oak is excited about the prospects the new program presents in the branded apparel marketplace.

“This is a major solution to what was an ongoing problem experienced by anyone looking to order high-performance shirts in smaller quantities and full customization tailored to anyone’s design and sizing needs,” said Chris Paradise, Mossy Oak’s Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer.

Vapor will create the Mossy Oak patterns and customized graphic messaging on its line of moisture-wicking, UPF50+ fabrics. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends this fabric as an effective UV protectant for covered areas, Vapor executives said. The solar wear includes antimicrobial performance features and moisture-wicking technology. Bernat told Counselor that Vapor will produce the made-in-the-USA apparel in Union, SC – a historic textile mill town. “People want the full benefits of sublimation without hindering the performance features of the clothing itself. These customized products will be built to last right here in South Carolina,” added Vapor President Jackson Burnett in a statement.

Available Mossy Oak patterns include what Vapor Apparel described as top-selling selections in the deer (“Break-Up Country), turkey (“Obsession”) and waterfowl (“Shadow Grass Blades”) hunting categories. Additional patterns on offer are Mossy Oak’s “Original Bottomland,” “New Bottomland” and “Mountain Country.”
