Underground Printing Opens Illinois Storefront
The retail location for the Michigan-based distributor/decorator will sell licensed University of Illinois gear and provide custom apparel printing services.
Underground Printing (asi/348084) has opened a new storefront in Campustown, near the heart of Champaign, IL.
The Michigan-based provider of custom printed apparel, accessories and promotional products says the location will feature officially licensed University of Illinois apparel and merchandise, while also supporting the community with its custom printing needs.
The move comes a year after the distributor/decorator relocated to a 172,000-square-foot headquarters and production facility in Washtenaw County, MI. Rishi Narayan, co-founder and chief revenue officer at Underground Printing, said the new storefront represents another in a series of significant milestones for the company.
“The new location will allow us to grow within the community of Champaign while giving us the ability to reach more customers in person,” Narayan said.
The storefront is centrally located minutes from the University of Illinois, and Manager Heather Swart is excited to get started. “I can’t wait to connect with the local community and see all of the original custom designs they create,” she said.
