Koozie Group Announces Full Integration of IMAGEN Brands

The Top 40 supplier will be retiring the name of IMAGEN Brands, a former Top 40 firm it acquired in December 2020.

The integration is complete.

Top 40 supplier Koozie Group (asi/40480) announced March 6 that it has fully integrated IMAGEN Brands, a former Top 40 company.

Koozie Group acquired IMAGEN in December 2020. Over the ensuing years, the companies operated largely as standalone entities.

Then, in October last year, Koozie Group said it would fully integrate IMAGEN’s operations and retire the company’s moniker, with the acquired firm to go to market under the Koozie Group name.

With the wedding of the firms now complete, IMAGEN Brands products are now configurable and orderable on kooziegroup.com. Koozie Group website features are functioning for these items, including the ability to track orders placed after March 4 using the Koozie Group Tracker.

According to company leaders, customers can filter searches to find previous IMAGEN Brands items; an icon has been added to these product pages. A plus for the Canadian market: Products previously available through IMAGEN Brands can now also be sold in Canada.

“We embarked on this integration so we could bring our distributor partners increased support and value-added services, easier order management via the Koozie Group Tracker, and faster and more flexible production,” said Koozie Group CEO Pierre Montaubin, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “Our teams have worked tirelessly over the last five months to ensure this was a smooth transition for our customers, and I’m proud to report that we achieved that goal.”

Koozie Group said it has been sharing with customers about the benefits of integration. That includes a combined service and sales support team, an enhanced website experience, a growing number of items available on free 24-Hour Service and two-day standard production, and an expanded product assortment that includes more items with full-color decoration, executives said.

“Many of our back-of-house teams had been supporting both Koozie Group and IMAGEN Brands,” said Chief Revenue Officer Melissa Ralston, also a Power 50 member. “This integration helps us leverage the strengths of both companies, and we’re excited to provide increased coverage and enhanced tools to help our customers grow their businesses.”

Distributors can find specifics, including how to pay invoices from IMAGEN Brands, how to get Koozie Group PromoStandards credentials, and other information using an integration-specific landing page that Koozie Group set up, the company said.

A Koozie Group spokesperson confirmed to ASI Media that the supplier will be sunsetting the IMAGEN Brands name; it will not be a sub-brand of Koozie Group. However, for practical purposes, Koozie Group will still likely refer to the IMAGEN Brands name for a time as customers become accustomed to IMAGEN products being sold under the Koozie Group brand.

Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of $317 million, Koozie Group ranked seventh on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
