Koozie Group announced this week that the support continued with recent donations of over $5,500 apiece to the chapters, which are near the firm’s facilities in Florida and Minnesota. Since 2022, Koozie Group has committed to donating 5% of writing instrument sales that reference a certain code. This has resulted in about $30,000 in monetary donations to the regional chapters.

Meanwhile, in-kind donations have totaled more than $425,000, Koozie Group said. Over the last two years, the company has delivered 3,400 backpacks filled with markers, crayons, pencils, water bottles and more to the three United Way chapters. Other notable support has included hurricane relief efforts in Florida.

“As part of our ‘Keep It. Give it.’ vision, we strive to do business in a way that benefits our people, our customers, our communities and our industry,” said Koozie Group Chief Revenue Officer Melissa Ralston, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “Givebacks are one of the many ways we accomplish this goal, and we are so proud to support amazing organizations like our United Way chapters.”

The firm plans to continue its writing instrument giveback program in 2024.

Based on reported 2022 North American promotional products industry revenue of $317 million, Koozie Group ranked seventh on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
