Dayton, OH-based Aegean Apparel, in conjunction with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is voluntarily recalling children’s pajama pants and robes because they pose a burn risk.

While no injuries have been reported, product safety officials said that the sleepwear fails to meet flammability standards.

“Consumers should immediately take the recalled sleepwear away from children,” the CPSC said in a statement.

According to the CPSC, the Aegean robe under recall is made of 100% polyester micro fleece. Hooded with long sleeves, the piece features a belt sewn into the back and two front pockets. The robe is light green, with cats printed on it, and cat ears sewn into the hood.

Meanwhile, the pajama pants are 100% polyester. They come in white with a dog wearing a Santa hat print. Both garments were sold in children’s sizes small through extra large and have “Kings n Queens by Aegean Apparel” on the label.

All told, about 500 units sold at www.aegeanapparel.com from November 2016 through October 2018. Cost was $30 for the pants, and about $60 for the robe.
