Obituary: Sheila Ware, Pro Towels
Co-workers remember Ware as someone who “brought pure joy” to the workplace throughout her 29 years with the supplier firm.
Sheila Ware was one of the lights.
She radiated an infectious energy – the kind of person who wore her heart on her sleeve and brightened the days of those she came into contact with through her positive attitude and zest for life.
That’s how the team at promo products supplier Pro Towels (asi/79750) will remember Ware following her passing at age 62 on Oct. 28.
Ware was a Pro Towels employee for 29 years, and in the words of her co-workers, she “brought pure joy” to the company and everyone she interacted with in the promotional products industry.
“Sheila was the heart and soul of the Pro Towels family and brought a smile to work every day,” said Pro Towels CEO Kevin Nord. “She was truly loved by many and will never know how much happiness she brought to us and our customers.”
Ware was a large-quotes specialist. She was known to parade around the office with a set of purple and gold pom poms, shaking them enthusiastically to celebrate when she earned a big order. It was indicative of how she lived her life: joyfully, and bringing smiles to others.
“Her positive attitude, commitment to her craft and desire to be of service to others will truly be missed,” the company said in a statement. “Her passing will affect the Pro Towels family immensely, but we will continue to carry on her legacy by continuing to provide a high level of service and making our clients smile.”
When she wasn’t working, Ware enjoyed lake life, entertaining her friends and family, and spending time with her daughter and granddaughters. A native of Greer, SC, she is survived by her daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters.
