Counselor Top 40 supplier SRG (asi/84592; Canada, asi/84595) is getting recognized for its commitment to sustainability. The supplier this month earned a Silver rating from EcoVadis, placing it among the top 15% of companies assessed by the business sustainability platform.
The recognition reflects SRG’s ongoing dedication to environmental stewardship, ethical business practices and responsible sourcing across its operations, the supplier said.
“I’m really proud of this achievement for SRG,” Brianna Mazze, vice president of sustainability and compliance at SRG, told ASI Media. “Combined with our Higg FEM, SMETA 4 Pillar audits and our evidence-based decarbonization plan, it shows how SRG is leading by example – proving that real, measurable change is possible in the promo world.”
EcoVadis rated SRG’s carbon management as “Advanced,” noting its comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions tracking, alignment with global standards and third-party data verification. The supplier also said it earned the highest scores in the environment and sustainable procurement pillars, underscoring investments in reducing energy consumption, training initiatives and sustainable supply chain policies. SRG noted in its 2024 Impact report, released earlier this year, that it has taken steps to help it lower Scope 1 GHG emissions more than 40% by 2027. In March, the supplier released an energy reduction road map, detailing plans to decarbonize its facilities by reducing or eliminating fossil fuel-based energy, replacing it with electricity-based energy and using renewable energy.
EcoVadis provides a comprehensive assessment of a company’s performance in environmental and social governance across its supply chain, evaluating companies based on four categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The platform uses an in-depth scoring system to help companies evaluate current practices and find opportunities for growth.
EcoVadis has rated more than 150,000 companies worldwide. The platform has become increasingly popular in the promo products industry.
