Inkcups, a maker of direct-to-object (DTO) printing technology, will present key solutions from its growing product portfolio at PRINTING United Expo later this month. Exhibiting in booth #1530 under the theme “Printing Beyond Boundaries,” Inkcups plans to showcase innovations in DTO printing, including updates to the Helix ONE, the recently launched X5-T High Throw, Nano Pin Curing technology on the flagship Helix, and pad printing and laser plate-making solutions.

Printers Prepare To Celebrate International Print Day

On Oct. 9, printing professionals worldwide will declare their love of print by sharing “printspiration” across social media with the hashtag #IPD25, celebrating International Print Day.

This year’s theme, #PrintSmart, showcases how print in all its forms – when paired with marketing technology, data collection and reporting, and AI – becomes more valuable and measurable for customers and consumers.

“#PrintSmart is about showing the world that print is most effective when partnered with technology,” said Deborah Corn, founder of International Print Day. “For printers, it unlocks the ability to innovate, work faster, reduce waste, personalize at scale and prove value with measurable results. For customers, it opens the door to collaboration with knowledgeable printing partners who bring the tools, data and strategy to enhance outcomes and show how powerfully print drives engagement.”

Now in its 11th year, International Print Day has become a global showcase for print’s creativity and innovation, generating more than 200 million social impressions to date.

Ninja Patches has released custom PVC keychains.

Ninja Patches, a division of Ninja Transfers (asi/73060), has launched a new product aimed at makers, brands and creators: custom PVC rubber keychains.

Made from high-quality soft PVC, these rubber keychains are flexible, rugged and waterproof.

“At our core, we turn big ideas into custom products people love,” said Victor Ilisco, director of business development. “With PVC keychains, we’re giving creators a fresh, fun way to make their mark – and carry it everywhere.”

The process to create a keychain is simple, according to Ninja. Just upload a design, choose shape, size and backing style, and Ninja handles the rest, from proofing to production.

Other recent news includes:

  • Ninja Transfers has announced an official partnership with Heat Press Nation, bringing a curated selection of heat presses optimized for direct-to-film (DTF) transfers to NinjaTransfers.com. By integrating equipment and materials on one website, Ninja Transfers said it’s eliminating friction for creators.
  • Ninja Transfers has launched Ninja Merch, a branded apparel line of T-shirs and hoodies that the company says is a live showcase of what’s possible with professional-grade DTF transfers. Each piece in the collection highlights a different design approach, from bold kanji graphics and anime-inspired artwork to futuristic linework and retro pop-art motifs.
  • Ninja Transfers has enhanced its nationwide shipping capabilities by adding Amazon Ground Shipping alongside its existing UPS Ground service. The expansion offers faster delivery times in many regions and extends service to Saturdays and Sundays, according to the supplier.
  • Ninja Transfers has launched a new multi-upload feature, designed to save decorators valuable time at checkout. The system allows users to drag and drop or select multiple files simultaneously from the DTF Transfers product page. Once uploaded, the files open in a pop-up window where customers can quickly adjust sizes – choosing from popular presets or entering custom dimensions – and set quantities on the spot.

EPS Releases White Paper on Single-Pass UV Inkjet Benefits

EPS, a maker of custom, high-speed pad and UV inkjet DTO printers, has released a white paper, “The Shift in Direct-to-Object Printing,” showing how single-pass UV inkjet technology is redefining the economics of DTO decoration.

The comprehensive report, said EPS, highlights how single-pass UV inkjet printing offers manufacturers and decorators a faster ROI with near zero set-up costs, labor efficiencies, agility and sustainability benefits when compared to traditional analog methods like pad, screen and offset printing.

“Single-pass UV inkjet isn’t just a more flexible print technology; it’s a cost model breakthrough,” said Kenneth Stack, executive chairman. “By removing set-up costs, single-pass digital DTO lets manufacturers turn short runs and customization into profitable opportunities, not cost burdens.”
