Delta Apparel to Open Digital Print Facilities in New Jersey, Texas
Top 40 supplier Delta Apparel (asi/49172) has announced that its digital print subsidiary, DTG2Go, will be opening two new facilities – one in Cranbury, NJ, and the other in Greater Dallas. The new facilities are expected to open in late summer.
According to Delta, the new locations will help DTG2Go improve its speed to market and elevate customer service levels, enabling the company to offer one-day shipping to more than half of all U.S. consumers, including those in the key New York City and Dallas metropolitan areas. The expansion will also increase its fulfillment capacity to support substantial growth anticipated in 2020.
“The new locations will enhance both our delivery speed and fulfillment capabilities and further solidify our industry-leading position in the digital print market,” said Deborah Merrill, chief financial officer and president of Delta Group.
DTG2Go already boasts print and fulfillment locations in Miami and Clearwater, FL; Reno, NV; Storm Lake, IA; and Fayetteville, NC.
Merrill said the new locations, like its integrated facility in Miami, allow Delta to leverage its “low-cost supply of blank garments” with DTG2Go’s “innovative digital print offerings.” She added: “This single-source solution for customers is unique in the market and allows us to take advantage of expansion opportunities across multiple sales channels outside of DTG2Go’s traditional customer base, including brick and mortar retailers, traditional screen printers, promotional product providers, large brands and others.”
Delta Apparel is ranked 38 in the Counselor Top 40 Supplier list this year, with 2018 North American promo sales of $46.2 million.
