Kikkoman & Primitive Skateboarding Team Up For Merch Collaboration
It’s another niche for promotional products firms to capitalize on: swag collaborations between brands.
Talk about tasty swag.
Japan-based global soy sauce purveyor Kikkoman has teamed up with Primitive Skateboarding on a branded merchandise collection that’s aimed at adding some flavorful seasoning to your wardrobe.

Debuting in late May, the collection features hoodies, long and short sleeve T-shirts, an anorak, a dad hat, a flat-bill snapback cap, socks, fleece pants and more. Perhaps the crowning achievement of the line, however, is the Kikkoman soy sauce bottle-shaped skateboard deck.
The deck has already sold out, as did what might be our personal favorite practical wearable from the collection: The Dad Hat.
The collab with Kikkoman is the first in a planned series of culinary-inspired capsule collections from Primitive that the California-based skateboarding brand is calling Primitive Tastes. The campaign focuses on rad skate spots, special cultural locations and cuisines/restaurants around the world. The idea is to encourage a kind of open-minded wanderlust – to inspire audiences to richly appreciate and experience cultures from around the world.
