Oriental Trading Launches Custom Apparel Web Store
Oriental Trading Co., a top online retailer of party supplies, toys and novelties, has launched its own custom apparel brand, CustomFun365. The new e-commerce site was developed using InkSoft’s Design Studio, a web-to-print software used by many apparel decorators in the industry.
“Expanding into custom apparel was a natural fit for our portfolio,” said Brian Moen, chief marketing and merchandising officer at Oriental Trading, in a press release. “Families, groups and organizations of all sizes already trust us to make their events special by supplying irresistibly priced products. Now, we can truly be a one-stop shop for them.”
CustomFun365 appears to follow a similar model to the popular online store Custom Ink, catering to groups and other organizations that want to create custom apparel for family reunions, fundraisers, field trips and other occasions. CustomFun365 stocks brands such as Fruit of the Loom, Gildan and Bella+Canvas. The online design studio, powered by InkSoft, offers 2,000 customizable templates, 11,000 clip art images, more than 400 font styles and a variety of color choices. The etailer includes free quotes, setup and design help, and free shipping.
Oriental Trading, a Berkshire Hathaway company based in Omaha, NE, offers more than 40,000 products to customers. The CustomFun365 site is just the latest in a slew of specialized e-commerce sites launched by Oriental Trading in recent months. In early February, Oriental Trading launched Learn365, a catalog and website meant to deliver budget-friendly educational games and supplies to teachers. In January, the company launched Marry Me, a wedding supplies brand.
